Overview
The Pennsylvania Apartment Association is seeking a Member Engagement Coordinator to support non-profit association management and help deliver smooth, memorable experiences for members and sponsors. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys event planning, and can serve as a central point of contact for members, sponsors, and internal teams. What You’ll Do
- Provide end-to-end support for events, from early planning stages through on-site delivery and follow-up.
- Help promote sponsorship opportunities and build business partnerships.
- Develop positive relationships with association members and maintain a strong member experience.
- Respond quickly and professionally to member phone calls and emails.
- Assist internal departments and take on administrative duties as needed.
- Enter and maintain event-related data accurately.
- Coordinate the full member experience, including pre-event planning, on-site setup, production, issue resolution, event teardown, and post-event review.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of service across all phases of an event.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a similar discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Prior experience in association event planning is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience working in events.
- The ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and juggle several projects at once.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, exempt position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role is office-based with on-site attendance required 2 days per week.
