Role purpose
This position is responsible for helping ensure that the division’s scientific, technical, and ethical standards remain strong across policies, statements, and initiatives. The role also supports the medical needs of the portfolio by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality support to internal teams and external healthcare stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the promotion of the assigned portfolio under the guidance of the line manager or mentor, while contributing ideas for brand plans, medical development plans, and medical-marketing or clinical programs, including initiatives that improve medicine access.
- Prepare or review promotional, training, and CME content with supervision, ensuring the material is medically accurate and aligned with applicable industry standards.
- Work with the line manager or mentor to plan and conduct targeted educational and promotional engagements with KOLs, such as launch meetings, advisory boards, CME sessions, scientific symposia, institutional presentations, medical projects, and studies.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to plan research work and draft, review, or approve protocol synopses, final protocols, and supporting documents as required.
- Share clear, prompt, balanced, and correct medical information with internal sales teams and external HCPs, following the applicable SOPs and policies.
- Train new sales staff on basic science, therapeutic areas, and assigned products, and provide ongoing refresher, pre-launch, and launch training as needed.
- Support NPE, Marketing, and Business Development teams by evaluating medical aspects of new products and providing recommendations on commercial opportunities, local formulations, and line extensions through literature review and analysis.
- Help the regulatory team by drafting, revising, and reviewing product labeling documents in line with the relevant SOPs.
- Support pharmacovigilance work by documenting and reporting adverse events within required timelines.
Requirements
- MBBS and MD in Pharmacology are mandatory.
- Must have 1 to 4 years of experience in medico-marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Applicants must already have at least 1 year of work experience.
