Role overview

This position is for a Mechanical Engineer - Fresher to support CNC/VMC-based manufacturing operations at the Nagpur facility. The role involves working on the shop floor, assisting with machine setup and day-to-day production activities, and ensuring output aligns with required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Run CNC and VMC machines according to production needs in the manufacturing process.
• Support machine setup under supervision and observe performance during operation.
• Check that finished output matches the required quality benchmarks and product specifications.
• Carry out routine inspections, basic upkeep, and minor maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Adhere to all safety rules, standard operating procedures, and shop-floor discipline.
• Keep production logs and machine operation records up to date and accurate.
• Help with tooling, setup corrections, and initial troubleshooting when issues arise.
• Work closely with supervisors and teammates to maintain an efficient production flow.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Keep the workstation and machine area clean, organized, and orderly.

Eligibility and requirements

Candidates should have a background in Mechanical Engineering and the employer prefers applicants with immediate joining availability. Accepted qualifications include ITI, Diploma in Mechanical, BE, or B.Tech in Mechanical. The role is open to freshers, and candidates with up to 2 years of experience in production or a related field may also be considered. Only Mechanical Engineering students/candidates are eligible to apply.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is ₹2,00,000 to ₹2,40,000.
