The role requires a strategic, multi-year perspective to help align medium- and long-term supply chain capability with commercial demand.
Responsibilities
- Convert sales forecasts, confirmed orders, and pipeline opportunities into firm and forecasted supply plans for strategic components.
- Assess and improve supply chain processes by identifying efficiency opportunities and adopting better practices.
- Work with Sales to judge delivery feasibility, lead-time implications, and capacity availability during bid and contract discussions.
- Own the Master Production Schedule for long-lead, advanced, and critical equipment.
- Help support commercial negotiations by weighing schedule, cost, and risk trade-offs.
- Track both upside and downside demand scenarios and understand how each could affect operations.
- Carry out additional duties as needed, recognizing that responsibilities may change with or without prior notice.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing setting or in demand planning.
- Ability to coordinate with and communicate effectively to senior leadership.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and outside suppliers.
- Hands-on experience with supply chain management software; Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and IF/THEN formulas.
- Direct ownership of S&OP or IBP processes.
- Experience in power generation, energy, EPC, or industrial equipment markets.
- Capability to manage competing priorities, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Effective judgment and decisive decision-making.
- Attention to detail, organizational strength, prioritization, and critical evaluation.
- Business acumen, customer/client focus, accountability, ethical practice, patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to company needs, employee goodwill, and business requirements.
Working conditions
