- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to improve productivity and performance.
- Monitor route execution through regular field visits and ensure sales representatives follow execution standards and target-achievement practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stockists, wholesale accounts, and other key customers to support service quality and execution.
- Increase volume and sales fundamentals by putting company plans into action.
- Track area performance using updated data, compare results against business objectives, and turn insights into action plans.
- Prepare volume forecasts for assigned channels and territories.
- Support better customer service and execution efficiency by working closely with stockists.
- Manage field sales teams so execution, gross and net revenue, market share, and people-development goals are met or exceeded.
- Expand distribution coverage in line with the business plan and ensure new product launches are executed properly.
- Oversee merchandising, promotional, and operational priorities across the field.
- Maintain control over sales administration, inventory, returns, invoicing, and other location-level processes.
- Report market changes, competitive activity, and other relevant developments to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with control responsibilities, including document checks, order validation, and KPI reporting.
Operational and compliance duties
- Organize, direct, and motivate sales representatives to achieve agreed sales and profit targets while following sales standards.
- Run weekly route-control activities, one-to-one follow-ups, and formal team meetings, including compliance checks.
- Monitor household-hygiene/integrity reports and take action where required.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify changes in market conditions or legal requirements and share those updates with the Regional/Sales Manager.
- Ensure promotional plans are clearly understood and implemented at the correct time and in the correct locations.
- Maintain administrative discipline for stock, returnable cases, and the daily sales invoicing cycle.
- Support field performance management through route optimization, POP material management, stand planning, turnover follow-up, code-of-conduct enforcement, and values awareness.
- Implement and monitor accounting, inventory, and control procedures, and help resolve supply or service issues.
- Review sales documents, validate sales orders through independent checks, and assess KPI reports related to sales and stale performance.
Qualifications and skills
The role requires solid FMCG field sales exposure, strong communication ability in both English and Arabic, and comfort working without travel limitations. Strong computer literacy is essential, especially across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows-based applications. The position also calls for a results-oriented mindset, customer-centric thinking, analytical judgment, team development capability, persuasive communication, and a high standard of integrity.
Additional requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and be able to work effectively with data, trends, and field observations to support sound business decisions. Success in this role depends on the ability to influence others, maintain discipline in execution, and support team members through coaching and follow-up.
