Job description

Opportunity Overview

This position sits with a client in the early stages of building an AI-powered knowledge and intelligence platform. Because the business is still taking shape, the work is highly visible and directly influences how the company enters the market. The role is practical and collaborative, with regular interaction with the client’s CEO and teams across the organization.

Role Summary

The client is looking for a marketing professional who can blend creativity with performance thinking to strengthen brand awareness, connect with target audiences, and support business growth. The person in this role will produce persuasive content, coordinate campaigns and events, and review results to improve future efforts. It is well suited to someone who can simplify complex technology into clear, engaging messaging that helps drive understanding and adoption.

What You Will Do

  • Design and run coordinated marketing programs across online and offline channels.
  • Write and shape marketing assets such as website copy, product collateral, one-pagers, brochures, email campaigns, and event materials.
  • Own the planning and delivery of company events from start to finish, including conferences and the annual user meeting.
  • Work with sales to create materials that support lead generation and improve conversion.
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure marketing activity supports broader company goals.
  • Build stronger connections with customers and strategic partners through focused marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee social media activity and keep the brand voice consistent across platforms.
  • Monitor campaign and event outcomes, interpret the results, and turn insights into practical next steps.

Required Background

  • Practical marketing experience in a software or SaaS environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing or a similar function.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfort working with data, metrics, and reporting tools to evaluate performance.
  • Capability to manage several priorities at once and meet deadlines in a fast-moving setting.
  • Willingness to travel when needed for events, booth support, and customer meetings.

Preferred Strengths

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and adjust messaging quickly when a campaign is underperforming.
  • Experience promoting technical or complex products to audiences without a technical background.
  • A collaborative, self-starting attitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning.

Compensation and Benefits

This position includes eligibility for a performance bonus linked to both company and individual results. Compensation is intended to be competitive and will be finalized based on experience and market conditions.

  • Medical insurance with 100% of the employee premium paid by the employer, with PPO and HMO choices.
  • Dental and vision coverage.
  • Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent care.
  • Mental health and wellness resources, including an Employee Assistance Program.
  • 401(k) plan with a 100% employer match on the first 6% contributed.
  • Equity participation through stock options or RSUs, subject to board approval and vesting terms.
  • Company-paid basic life insurance, plus optional additional coverage.
  • Paid time off that accumulates monthly, along with nine paid company holidays each year.
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits for public transit and eligible parking.

Equal Opportunity and Hiring Notes

The employer is an equal opportunity company and reviews qualified candidates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or other protected characteristics.
