Job description

Role Overview

This position plays a senior-level marketing support role, overseeing a range of projects that back sales initiatives, product creation, and internal and external corporate communications. The role also involves studying market information, spotting trends, and estimating how marketing efforts may affect business outcomes. In some cases, the position may also help prepare and share materials and reports for Investor Relations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of moderately complex marketing campaigns from start to finish, often across multiple channels.
  • Keep marketing projects aligned with schedule, scope, and budget goals.
  • Support assigned business lines and branches by building and carrying out marketing plans.
  • Prepare and distribute marketing and sales reports, along with forecasting details.
  • Coordinate calendars, travel, and reservations for the marketing team.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and internal colleagues by phone, written correspondence, fax, and voicemail.
  • Help organize marketing meetings and presentations.
  • Act as coordinator for corporate and community events involving the company or its subsidiaries.
  • Provide training and support for marketing, product placement, and product usage across departments.
  • Oversee community giving programs and help coordinate corporate participation.
  • Maintain the company website, including updates, banner changes, new functionality, social media content, and some Investor Relations-related updates.
  • Research, build, launch, and assess marketing and product-related programs.
  • Maintain Master Central Information File data, including household records, onboarding details, sales forecasts, and profitability information.
  • Execute marketing plans focused on retail, credit, and wealth management.
  • Record minutes for marketing meetings.
  • Develop Investor Relations materials, reports, and proposals.
  • Draft and edit press releases, internal communications, external communications, and advertising content.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral meets or exceeds compliance standards before distribution.
  • Handle the department inbox for both internal and external messages.
  • Support other marketing projects and activities as needed.
  • Complete all required and optional training, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, and follow all applicable rules and regulations.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned.

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is required, along with at least four years of sales or marketing experience in a comparable industry. The role also requires reliable personal transportation, as travel may occasionally be needed across the company’s footprint and can reach up to 20% during busy periods.

Skills and Competencies

The position calls for strong report writing, presentation, problem-solving, interpretation, negotiation, multitasking, and communication abilities. Advanced computer proficiency is also essential, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to gather and assess data, draw valid conclusions, understand and follow verbal and written instructions, and interact effectively with managers, clients, employees, and members of the public.
