About the Company

PROTECT3D is based in Durham, North Carolina and produces custom 3D-printed braces, orthotics, and support products. By using only a smartphone scan, the team designs, prints, and ships items such as AFOs, CMC braces, and foot orthotics across the United States in as little as 48 hours. The company first gained momentum in elite sports medicine settings such as NCAA, NFL, and NBA programs, and has since expanded into clinical and defense-focused markets, including care for the warfighter community.

Role Overview

This position serves as the main driver of day-to-day marketing execution and an important contributor to sales pipeline growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, and able to combine content production with data-informed marketing practices. In this role, you will do more than produce materials; you will help the sales team reach revenue goals by leading social media growth, running automated email programs, coordinating conferences, and building a repeatable marketing system that turns customer feedback and product gaps into useful collateral.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict consistency with the company brand style guide and keep sales decks, email templates, and product materials polished and professional.
  • Create marketing assets such as posters for medical offices, product flyers, and digital brochures.
  • Run CRM-based marketing efforts, including audience segmentation, email automation, lead-nurture sequences, campaign analysis, and database upkeep.
  • Develop and support an ongoing content system that gathers input from clients and the sales team, identifies missing asset needs, and turns those findings into a steady stream of new content ideas.
  • Manage social media presence with a regular posting schedule of at least one post per week and use analytics to guide future content choices and improve brand awareness and traffic.
  • Handle conference planning from start to finish, including logistics, booth setup guidance, printed materials, lead capture, post-event tracking, and automated follow-up processes; occasional event attendance may be required to better understand the brand and customer experience.
  • Collect and shape customer testimonials, clinical wins, athlete stories, and product adoption stories for use across sales, marketing, and digital channels.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent precision and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to catch spelling, spacing, and formatting issues.
  • Comfort working with CRM platforms, email automation tools, and social media analytics dashboards.
  • Ability to build systems, schedules, and feedback loops proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience creating or adapting professional visuals in Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite while following an established brand framework.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in or familiarity with athletics, sports medicine, or medical devices is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing communications, sales support, or a similar marketing role.
  • A portfolio showing campaign management work or design samples is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, orthotics, sports medicine, or another regulated industry is preferred.
