Role Overview
This role is responsible for the systems, data, and processes that support the marketing team. It is a foundational operations position focused on keeping the marketing technology stack connected, ensuring campaigns are properly measured, and delivering the reporting needed for strong decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to build scalable workflows, protect data quality across CRM and marketing automation systems, and improve how marketing impact on pipeline and revenue is measured. This is an individual contributor position for someone who combines technical fluency with analytical thinking and strong execution.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage marketing automation, campaign operations, reporting, and process enablement across the function.
- Handle daily administration of the marketing automation platform, including list upkeep, workflow setup, lead scoring, and system hygiene.
- Oversee integrations among marketing automation, CRM, event tools, and related systems so data moves accurately and reliably.
- Assess, deploy, and maintain marketing technology solutions while serving as the internal subject matter expert for platform-related questions.
- Work with Sales and Revenue Operations on lead routing, lifecycle definitions, and CRM field alignment.
- Create and maintain campaign infrastructure such as nurture emails, lead capture forms, landing pages, UTM structure, and campaign tracking.
- Support institutional, content, and events marketing efforts by ensuring every program is segmented, tracked, and measurable.
- Manage audience segmentation and list strategy across institutional, issuer, and retail groups so messaging reaches the intended audiences.
- Apply and uphold email compliance and deliverability standards, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR requirements.
- Build dashboards and reports that show pipeline influence, campaign results, channel ROI, and funnel conversion performance.
- Own attribution modeling in partnership with Sales and Revenue Operations to support accurate multi-touch measurement.
- Share recurring performance reporting with marketing leadership and other stakeholders.
- Find data quality or coverage gaps and implement fixes that improve measurement accuracy.
- Document standard operating procedures for campaign builds, QA checks, launch steps, and reporting schedules.
- Train new marketing team members on tools and workflows and act as an internal resource for platform usage.
- Continuously improve marketing operations processes to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in marketing operations, preferably within B2B fintech, financial services, or a fast-growing technology company.
- Practical experience with HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform such as Marketo or Pardot, including workflows, lead scoring, forms, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, including field mapping, lead/contact/opportunity objects, and campaign influence reporting.
- Strong understanding of campaign tracking basics, including UTM parameters, attribution models, and funnel analytics.
- Experience creating marketing dashboards in tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Looker, or comparable platforms.
- A careful, data-first approach with a habit of catching issues before launch and relying on evidence over intuition.
- Comfort working independently on several projects at once in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
Preferred Experience
- Background supporting marketing for institutional financial services audiences such as asset managers, RIAs, wealth platforms, or broker-dealers.
- Familiarity with ABM tools such as Demandbase or 6sense.
- Exposure to event platforms such as Splash or Cvent and their integration with marketing automation systems.
- Basic understanding of SQL or BI tools for deeper analysis.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry where compliance influences marketing execution.
