Job description
Role overview
KiwiPlates is seeking a Marketing Executive to join its Auckland team and help bring brand-led campaigns to life. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys turning ideas into polished marketing activity that is actually delivered across channels. The position blends creative writing, day-to-day campaign coordination, and multi-channel execution.
KiwiPlates creates personalised number plates for New Zealand customers and positions its products around self-expression, celebration, and memorable gifting. The wider team values collaboration, openness, initiative, empathy, and recognition of achievement, creating a workplace that is energetic and supportive.
What you’ll be doing
You will take ownership of everyday marketing execution, converting strategy into effective campaigns across social media, EDMs, and dealer communications. The role involves writing with personality, keeping workstreams moving, and working closely with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to the required standard.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of campaigns from start to finish across social, EDM, and dealer channels.
- Handle organic social activity, including creating content, planning posts, and engaging with the community.
- Draft clear, engaging, and consistently on-brand copy for email, social, and dealer messaging.
- Work with internal stakeholders and agency partners to coordinate campaign activity.
- Assist with partnerships, product introductions, and wider campaign launches.
- Track timelines, manage approvals, and keep deliveries on schedule and aligned to brief.
- Review campaign performance and support reporting as well as optimisation efforts.
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of experience in a hands-on marketing position with direct campaign delivery exposure. You should be confident writing in a distinctive tone, comfortable across multiple channels, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, ownership, and a collaborative working style are important.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a practical marketing role involving campaign execution.
- Strong copywriting ability with the skill to adapt tone and personality to different channels.
- Experience working across social media, EDMs, and multi-channel campaign delivery.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage deadlines and several priorities at once.
- A high standard of accuracy and quality in day-to-day output.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take responsibility for work independently.
- Comfort working with stakeholders in a busy, collaborative setting.
- Suitability for a small, close-knit team where you will be closely involved in delivery.
Perks and benefits
- Supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable team culture.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Access to an espresso machine, snacks, and drinks.
- Birthday leave.
