Job description
About Eventogy
Eventogy is a business-to-business SaaS solution for enterprise event management, used by investment banks, corporate banks, law firms, and public-sector organisations. The company has operated for 20 years with a stable, profitable track record, and is based in Farringdon, London. You would be joining a compact, collaborative, senior team at a time when the product is being rebuilt and refined.
About the Role
This position is a strong fit for someone looking for their first or second role in marketing. The team is tightening its focus and making its marketing more targeted, and the successful candidate will help deliver the day-to-day work that brings the plan to life. The direction and messaging are already defined by the CEO and Commercial Director, so the role is centered on execution rather than strategy.
It is a practical, hands-on position with room to own tasks, work closely with supportive colleagues, and see output go live quickly. Because the team is small, the work will be varied and your contribution will be visible from the beginning.
Key Responsibilities
- Research target accounts and build accurate prospect lists, including the right contacts at each organisation, while keeping records organised and current.
- Support outbound campaigns by setting up email sequences, managing sends, and monitoring responses so follow-up does not get missed.
- Keep content flowing by scheduling and publishing updates across LinkedIn and the company blog, while maintaining the content calendar.
- Assist with website updates and the ongoing refresh of the marketing site, following clear guidance from the wider team.
- Help manage day-to-day paid and organic marketing activity and pay attention to what is performing well.
- Track results and share simple, clear updates on performance; the focus is on understanding what is working rather than producing perfection.
Requirements
You do not need to meet every requirement perfectly. The company is looking for someone who is organised, motivated, and able to learn quickly.
- Roughly 1 to 2 years of experience in a marketing role; experience in B2B, SaaS, or an agency is helpful but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational habits, reliability, and an eye for detail.
- Comfort juggling several tasks at once and keeping track of priorities.
- Familiarity with common marketing tools such as LinkedIn, email platforms, a CMS, and basic analytics, or the ability to pick them up quickly.
- Clear, neat writing skills for copy that needs to read well and support the team’s messaging.
- Willingness to use AI tools as part of a faster working style, with training provided.
- A positive attitude toward learning, asking questions, and growing into the role.
Additional Requirements
- Exposure to finance or legal clients, outbound prospecting, account research, or paid channels such as Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK and be based in the UK.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Work Location
This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate is expected to be in the Farringdon, London office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Benefits
The role offers close collaboration with the founder and senior leadership during an exciting stage of growth, along with strong mentorship and support. It provides variety, responsibility, and practical experience that can help build lasting marketing skills.
- Salary of £28,000 to £32,000, depending on experience.
- Company pension scheme.
- Gym membership.
- Hybrid working, with three days each week spent in the Farringdon office.
- A lively location with a coffee shop next door and a busy food market nearby.
- Direct mentorship and development support from the CEO and senior team.
- A small, friendly environment where individual contribution has real impact.
Application Notes
Applications should include a CV and a brief note explaining why the role is a good fit. A cover letter is not required; a few honest paragraphs will be enough.
Recruitment Terms
Direct applications only are being accepted for this vacancy. Unsolicited CVs will be treated as gifts and will not create any obligation, fee, or other terms. Recruitment agencies are asked not to contact the company by phone or email about this position.
