Job description
About the Role
This opportunity is for experienced quantitative professionals who want to contribute to AI training. You will collaborate with advanced AI systems by reviewing machine-generated quantitative work, solving technical challenges, and sharing feedback that helps improve how these models reason about data, modeling, and scientific problems. The role is well suited to people with backgrounds in data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, or other analytical disciplines. Some contributors take on this work alongside another full-time position, while others make it their main focus.
How the Process Works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will become available on the platform.
What You Get as a Contractor
- You can decide which projects to accept and when to work on them.
- You can work from home on your own computer and set your own schedule.
- Projects are compensated at hourly rates starting from $50 to $100+ USD, with some assignments offering bonus pay.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-created quantitative outputs for correctness, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-based conclusions.
- Develop and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems, covering forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce concise technical write-ups and maintain clear, well-organized analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI tools for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative job or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Working coding knowledge, with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English communication skills at native or bilingual level, especially in writing.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise, such as a strong Kaggle ranking, AWS/GCP machine learning certifications, or equivalent achievement, is considered a plus.
Important Notes
Payment is processed through PayPal, and PayPal will manage any currency conversion from USD. You will never be asked to send money. This is an independent contractor role. Only candidates located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand will be considered.
