Candidate profile
The role can suit either a candidate with a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related professional field, or someone with a 2-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a similar discipline, with no prior work experience required.
Core responsibilities
The manager supports day-to-day marketing execution to help the department meet its goals, including regional coordination of room, food and beverage, spa, and golf promotions. The role also involves creating leisure marketing plans, handling website and publication updates, producing brochures and property materials, contributing to signage and visual branding, and using market reports and campaign data to guide marketing decisions.
In addition, the position monitors ROI across promotions, online activity, direct mail, and print campaigns; keeps the property’s marketing voice consistent across all guest touchpoints; identifies new marketing opportunities; ensures the property is listed on effective internet channels; and works with convention bureaus, chambers of tourism, and media partners to support revenue growth.
The role also requires building sales and marketing support tools for channel partners, coordinating with corporate teams on program rollouts, helping shape promotions, supporting owner presentations, managing vendor relationships, maintaining marketing records, and approving invoices through the MarrCom office.
