Job description

Role overview

This position supports client-facing marketing work and the coordination of event administration, along with other operational duties that help strengthen marketing and brand initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage event-related logistics, including booth assets, shipping arrangements, travel coordination, and communication with vendors when assigned.
  • Track and administer registration timelines, sponsorship commitments, and required event assets.
  • Make sure attendees are informed of the registration requirements and help process registrations for those who qualify.
  • Work with the Marketing Event Manager to coordinate lead retrieval activities.
  • Prepare kick-off materials before events and compile post-event reports for business teams and marketing leaders.
  • Coordinate the distribution and availability of approved promotional materials.
  • Handle routine marketing administration such as purchase order requests, content approvals, and invoice processing as needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration with a marketing focus, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Academic coursework or project work connected to marketing and event activities.
  • Prior exposure through a co-op, internship, or other business administration experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and project management abilities.
  • Proven success in working with clients, suppliers, and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong personal leadership, organization, administration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A track record of improving performance and responsibilities over time.
  • Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, sometimes with short notice.
  • Preferred: about 2 years of experience in a marketing position.
