Role Summary

The Manufacturing Production Coordinator is responsible for helping plan and execute manufacturing operations. This position calls for practical shop-floor understanding, strong organization, and the ability to keep production demands moving forward. The core of the role is coordinating multiple parts of the production process so that goals are completed on schedule without compromising quality.

Key Duties

• Plan and coordinate production schedules and day-to-day manufacturing activity.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address production blockers and ensure task owners follow through on commitments.
• Confirm that all required stage gates are complete so work can be released for build.
• Keep production documentation accurate, current, and well organized.
• Help ensure finished goods are delivered on time.
• Track workflow and share schedule revisions as needed to keep output aligned with targets.

Required Background

• Prior experience in one or more metal manufacturing functions such as coordination, inventory control, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or shop management.
• Solid grasp of manufacturing workflows and industry best practices.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
• Experience using inventory management systems or software.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working under deadlines and pressure.
• Project management exposure or experience.
• Understanding of quality control expectations.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong organization and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Awareness of manufacturing safety requirements.
• Careful attention to detail.
• Ability to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
• Can work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Good time-management skills.
• Knowledge of production scheduling.
