Role overview

In this role, you will support a broad project environment and help ensure smooth production operations at the customer site. You will act as a link between planning, logistics, quality, and engineering, while also contributing to quality assurance in line with aerospace-specific standards. A key part of the job is to examine and improve processes using methods such as Lean, MTM, 5S, continuous improvement, and shopfloor management.

Responsibilities

  • Support uninterrupted production execution within varied customer projects.
  • Coordinate closely with planning, logistics, quality, and engineering teams.
  • Ensure quality control in accordance with aerospace industry requirements.
  • Evaluate production workflows and drive improvements using Lean, MTM, 5S, KVP, and shopfloor management techniques.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
  • Experience in a production environment or directly on the shop floor.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including the ability to analyze damages or production issues in a structured and solution-oriented way.
  • Practical experience with root-cause analysis methods such as 3C, 5 Why, and 8D.
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and take responsibility in a shopfloor setting.
  • Confident written and spoken communication in German and English.
