Job description
Role overview
Reporting to the Director, this position focuses on assessing consultants’ deliverables and design submissions to confirm that they align with the operational needs of the hospital or entity. The role also participates in technical coordination discussions, stakeholder review meetings, and alignment activities to help simplify, implement, and track the processes and protocols needed for the on-time delivery of hospital infrastructure.
Contract details
This is a 3-year contract role, with the option for renewal.
Key responsibilities
- Bring together internal and external stakeholders to gather input, maintain engagement, and facilitate feedback loops.
- Assess consultants’ submissions to verify that they are complete, relevant, and consistent with project requirements.
- Contribute as part of the wider team to delivering infrastructure that enables hospital operations.
- Advocate sustainability initiatives and ambitious targets in support of the NUHS Green Plan.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building and Estate Management, or another related field in the building industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and/or delivering institutional infrastructure projects.
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of hospital planning and/or healthcare operations.
- Proven ability to manage projects and work effectively in a coordinated, cross-functional environment.
- Confidence in engaging senior leadership and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong capability to handle multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines.
- Well-developed analytical and organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
