Overview

We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Manager Procurement to join our procurement team. The role entails overseeing comprehensive procurement functions to ensure timely sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, balancing cost efficiency with quality and delivery performance. The Manager Procurement collaborates closely with project associates, technical experts, operational teams, vendors, and other essential stakeholders to fulfill business goals and facilitate project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Project Teams, Technical Departments, Operations, and relevant stakeholders to clarify procurement needs and set priorities.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to uncover sourcing options, evaluate supplier capabilities, and track industry trends.
  • Perform detailed price analysis and benchmarking to promote competitive and cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Assess and select vendors based on technical merits, commercial terms, quality standards, and delivery efficiency.
  • Manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs), conduct commercial assessments, lead negotiations, and conclude procurement activities within established deadlines.
  • Ensure purchase orders are promptly issued and procurement processes are finalized to align with project timelines.
  • Monitor suppliers' deliverables closely and follow up to secure on-time delivery and adherence to agreed specifications.
  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with suppliers and internal teams throughout the procurement cycle.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from project groups and suppliers to enhance procurement processes and improve supplier performance.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in procurement methods to increase efficiency, ensure transparency, and create maximum value.
  • Strictly adhere to procurement policies, standard operating procedures, compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to supplier evaluations and support broader strategic sourcing projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an allied field is required.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, or project procurement is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of vendor management, commercial evaluations, and procurement workflows.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple stakeholders within evolving, project-focused environments.
  • Strong communication proficiency and relationship management aptitude.
  • Experienced in using ERP/procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
