Job description
Role overview
This position is centered on managing the department’s logistics functions end to end. The work also includes infrastructure support, corporate IT coordination, logistics delivery, and maintenance of logistics records and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Handle office renovation, upkeep, facilities, and fixed assets to support infrastructure needs.
- Coordinate corporate IT purchasing, equipment allocation, stock verification, and adherence to relevant directives and standards.
- Deliver logistics support such as audit-related checks, uniform provisioning, shipment coordination, and air ticket arrangements.
- Act as the logistics specialist to ensure compliance with applicable instructions and guidelines.
- Administer logistics systems and databases.
- Maintain accuracy through routine stocktaking and ongoing record maintenance.
Challenges in the role
- The role carries responsibility for logistics and infrastructure matters that may be audited, so a careful, disciplined, and structured approach is essential.
- You will need to resolve complex issues shaped by policy limits and resource constraints while working with many internal and external stakeholders, including overseas staff and their families.
Candidate profile
Suitable applicants should have studies in Business Management, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Experience in finance and logistics is preferred, though candidates without prior experience may also be considered. The role calls for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and methodical, with the ability to work well in a team, collaborate effectively, communicate tactfully, and operate independently when needed.
