Job description
About the company
Airbnb began in 2007, when two hosts opened their San Francisco home to three guests. Since then, the platform has expanded to millions of hosts worldwide and has enabled billions of guest arrivals across nearly every country. The company’s mission centers on helping people experience communities and travel in a more authentic way through distinctive stays and experiences.
Team overview
You would be joining the Homes Supply organization, which is responsible for ensuring a broad, strong, and high-quality inventory of listings. The team works to meet guest expectations by making attractive, high-value stays available across search results, while also helping hosts plan and execute growth in a way that aligns with Airbnb’s community-focused approach.
Role impact
In this leadership role, you will oversee market managers and own the overall strategy for supply acquisition, host quality, account management, and optimization across the assigned markets. The territory includes the Southeast and Gulf region, covering Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and the United States.
What you will do
- Manage a team of Market Associates and Market Managers focused on strengthening host partnerships and delivering KPI and business performance outcomes.
- Set regional priorities and build supply strategies across the full funnel, then allocate resources to the markets under your ownership.
- Work closely with Supply, Country Manager leadership, and other internal partners to advance cross-functional initiatives and share relevant strategic work globally.
- Own territory performance, including revenue targets, supply acquisition goals, optimization of current inventory, and improvement of key supply metrics.
- Spot market changes, barriers, and opportunities, then shape practical solutions to address them.
- Coach team members so they can perform strongly in their current roles and grow into future opportunities within the organization.
Experience and qualifications
This role calls for extensive global operations experience, strong people leadership, and the ability to manage through others effectively. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Southeast and Gulf territory, can use data to identify business opportunities, and can influence product, policy, and cross-functional stakeholders to unlock additional revenue streams. You should be comfortable handling performance management, building a positive team culture, and organizing multiple workstreams and action plans at once.
Location requirements
This position may be based in Florida or Georgia, United States. At present, employees cannot be located in Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware, or Rhode Island. This list may change over time. If the role is employed by another Airbnb entity, the recruiter will confirm the states from which you are eligible to work.
Inclusion and accessibility
Airbnb encourages applications from a wide range of candidates and values diverse perspectives. The company also aims to provide a disability-inclusive application and interview process. Candidates who need a reasonable accommodation to complete the application process may contact reasonableaccommodations@airbnb.com with their full name, the role name, and the support needed. This request is intended only for candidates whose disability prevents them from completing the online application.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this position is USD 160,000 to USD 200,000. Actual pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business requirements, and market conditions. The compensation package may also include bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
