About the role
ADWEEK is hiring a Manager of Client Partnerships to lead the delivery of sponsorship programs and strengthen relationships after a deal closes. In this position, you will help ensure smooth execution across a broad mix of offerings such as events, digital media, branded content, podcasts, and print. You will act as a dependable advisor to clients, working closely with internal teams to support client goals, improve campaign outcomes, and encourage renewals and future growth.
What you'll do
- Act as the main contact for clients after the sale, delivering a consistently high level of account support.
- Coordinate sponsorship delivery across ADWEEK’s portfolio, especially events, podcasts, digital media, branded content, and print, while handling roughly 60 to 70 client accounts each year and more than 20 active campaigns at once.
- Build strong working knowledge of ADWEEK’s products and capabilities to support an expanding scope of activation work.
- Develop trusted client relationships and look for ways to improve satisfaction, engagement, and repeat business.
- Own timelines and deliverables so sponsorship activations are completed on schedule and meet or exceed expectations.
- Work with sales, creative, editorial, events, and marketing partners to align execution with client objectives.
- Use performance data and insights to track results and suggest optimizations and future opportunities.
- Lead client communications, including launch meetings, project schedules, asset gathering, and post-campaign reports.
- Represent client interests internally and identify ways to improve offerings and operational processes.
- Keep records of inventory, campaign results, and client agreements accurate in project management and CRM systems.
- Travel to selected ADWEEK events to support clients onsite and help ensure successful sponsorship execution.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a client-facing position in marketing, advertising, media, or events.
- Solid knowledge of digital media, branded content, events, and sponsorship programs.
- Demonstrated ability to partner across teams and manage several client projects at the same time.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with a client-first and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines, workflows, and expectations.
- Familiarity with project management tools and CRM platforms is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
