Job description
Role overview
This position focuses on shaping cabin interior products and supporting the interior design strategy through research, benchmarking, and market insight. The aim is to improve guest satisfaction while keeping commercial priorities and operational needs in balance.
Key accountabilities
- Define, document, and roll out product standards and technical specifications for cabin interiors.
- Study interior products across the fleet and against competitors, then turn findings into clear infographic-style presentations.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, track industry movements, and carry out competitor research to back team strategy and departmental goals.
- Review and track product performance to make sure standards are being met, while helping service teams spot problems and improvement areas.
- Contribute to product development so solutions can be manufactured at scale without compromising quality.
- Help improve durability in service while also enhancing appearance and customer-facing features.
- Support request-for-proposal evaluation work and assist with vendor recommendation decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in transportation, aviation, design, or engineering, specifically connected to aircraft interior design.
