Job description
About the Role
This position is responsible for keeping aerodrome, terminal, and landside facilities operating efficiently. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, strong day-to-day functionality, and improving both passenger flow and overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the operational requirements, infrastructure standards, and performance benchmarks needed for reliable service delivery.
- Lead aerodrome, terminal, or landside operations to support the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, passengers, and vehicles, depending on the area assigned.
- Apply established industry standards, emergency response procedures, and technology-driven improvements to strengthen operations.
- Guide the design and execution of training programs so operators maintain the required competency and comply with regulatory expectations.
- Handle recruitment, evaluation, and onboarding of operators to support quality standards and readiness for operations.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to protect facility performance, safety, and dependability.
- Carry out inspections, performance reviews, and risk assessments to ensure high operational standards and compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
- A master’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Airport Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position is required.
- Previous hands-on experience in aerodrome maintenance is necessary.
