What you will be doing

  • Keep the property clean and presentable to a high standard so the building always feels welcoming.

  • Assist residents with repair-related requests and support general building maintenance.
  • Help maintain apartment units and outdoor areas to Hazelview’s expected standards.
  • Respond to emergency situations during or after working hours when immediate action is required for safety or operational reasons.

What you need to succeed

  • At least 1 year of experience in building cleaning and maintenance, ideally in a multi-residential environment.
  • Availability for a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comfort using basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, drywall, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a service-focused mindset for resident interactions.
  • Ability to work well in a busy, fast-moving setting.
  • Confidence working both as part of a team and independently.

What is offered

  • Base salary as part of the compensation package.
  • Paid vacation.
  • Health and dental benefits.
  • Bonus eligibility.
  • Employee recognition program.
  • Learning and development opportunities.
  • Additional paid time off.
  • For live-in roles, a residential unit is included as part of the package.
