Maintenance Janitor

Role overview

In this position, you will keep the Geek Squad City facility clean, orderly, and safe. The work includes standard daily upkeep such as vacuuming, collecting and disposing of debris, emptying waste bins, washing windows, sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring shared spaces remain tidy.

Key duties

• Carry out everyday cleaning and basic upkeep for the building.
• When required, perform more intensive cleaning tasks such as scrubbing and buffing floors, shampooing carpets or floors, and removing stains.
• Notice repair needs and communicate them promptly.

Basic qualifications

• Comfortable standing and sitting for extended periods.
• Able to handle a busy, fast-moving work environment.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.

Preferred background

• Experience using mechanical cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers and shampooers.
• Previous work in janitorial or custodial roles.
