Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a Corporate M&A Paralegal supporting merger and acquisition work from anywhere. The position is centered on transaction support, due diligence, document handling, and compliance-related coordination for corporate deals.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, assemble, and keep organized the full set of transaction documents, such as merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, and related supporting papers.
- Review corporate records, contracts, and legal filings as part of due diligence checks.
- Help prepare closing checklists, transaction summaries, memoranda, and other deal documents.
- Work with legal teams, corporate counsel, and outside advisors throughout the transaction process.
- Update corporate records and help ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.
Required experience and skills
- Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing corporate transaction documentation.
- Working knowledge of legal document control and compliance tracking.
- Understanding of due diligence procedures in mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage several deadlines at once.
- Comfort working independently while also coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Compensation
Pay for this role is stated at USD 40 to USD 70 per hour.
