Role Overview
As a Loss Prevention Agent, you will represent the company while helping protect store safety and security. The position is active, engaging, and plays an important part in supporting store operations and overall performance. The role is available in full-time, part-time, and short-time formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Help maintain the safety of customers, employees, and store property.
- Respond as an initial point of contact during urgent or emergency situations.
- Identify and address shoplifting activity.
- Carry out arrests in coordination with law enforcement, following applicable laws and company procedures.
- Prepare incident reports and create identification cards for employees.
Desired Profile
- You should be compassionate, dependable, and disciplined.
- You need to be quick-thinking and comfortable managing several duties at once.
- Previous experience in a similar security or loss prevention role is considered an advantage.
- You must be able to communicate in the official language used in the province where the Simons store is located.
- For Quebec, the required language is French.
- For Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia, the required language is English.
