Role Overview
The Loss Prevention Adviser plays an important part in protecting customers, store colleagues, and company assets. This position blends customer-facing work with back-of-house activity to reduce loss, support safe operations, and strengthen awareness of loss prevention practices across the store.
What You’ll Do
You will partner with the store team to identify risks, support investigations, review information, and share practical feedback. The role also involves helping colleagues respond to conflict in a calm and effective way, as well as improving understanding of loss prevention standards through coaching, validation, influence, and day-to-day support.
You will be expected to deal with external theft incidents in a professional and safe manner. The job requires someone who is self-motivated, engaging, resilient, and highly focused. Experience handling shrink and crime resolution in a busy retail security setting is helpful, though not mandatory.
