Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an organized, initiative-driven Logistics Specialist to support logistics operations in Riyadh. This role is central to coordinating the movement of raw materials and finished goods, while helping maintain strong supply chain performance in a busy coffee manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments so deliveries happen on schedule.
- Handle transportation coordination and communicate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
- Keep inventory movement records accurate and ensure logistics documentation is properly maintained.
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Sales teams to keep supply chain activities running smoothly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock planning to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Quickly address and resolve transportation or logistics-related issues.
- Review logistics performance and create reports covering transport spend, delivery results, and inventory movement.
- Make sure all activities follow company rules, safety practices, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Look for practical ways to improve processes and reduce logistics costs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, or warehouse operations.
- Prior exposure to Food & Beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of inventory control, shipment coordination, and supply chain workflows.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Capable of performing well in a fast-moving, high-pressure work environment.
- Arabic and English fluency is preferred.
