About the Role

Royal Canin is seeking a logistics professional to support the movement of premium pet nutrition products across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Auckland, this position plays an important part in the Supply Chain team by helping ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently, reliably, and in line with service expectations.

You will work closely with internal teams and third-party logistics providers to coordinate daily transport and distribution activities, track performance, and support ongoing improvements in service quality and cost control.

This position requires at least one day each week on site with the 3PL partner, with the rest of the week based from the Auckland office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily logistics coordination across the Australia and New Zealand network.
  • Track service levels, productivity, and logistics spend against agreed targets and KPIs.
  • Investigate operational issues using root cause analysis and help implement practical, lasting fixes.
  • Assist with reviewing service agreements and suggest logistics approaches that improve efficiency and the customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, Demand Planning, and Sales.
  • Support inbound container movements, nationwide distribution, and operations across six distribution centres in ANZ.
  • Maintain logistics procedures, standard operating processes, and quality compliance standards.
  • Help with inventory-related administration and reporting when needed.
  • Prepare reports and insights that support business decisions.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Solid understanding of transport and distribution centre operations.
  • Experience partnering with third-party logistics providers and customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and carry out root cause analysis.
  • Background in controlling logistics costs and managing service performance.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication and strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and reporting systems.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety requirements in logistics settings.

Additional Information

This opportunity is based in Auckland, New Zealand and is a full-time, onsite position with hybrid-style weekly presence at the 3PL location. Internal candidates are expected to discuss the application with their line manager before submitting it and secure endorsement.
