Job description
Role overview
DSV is expanding its global transport and logistics footprint, and this position sits within that growth. The role is based in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15, and supports a specialist White Glove & Technology logistics team. The main focus areas are safety, service quality, and working efficiently in a fast-moving, time-critical setting. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The annual salary is €32,000.
Key duties
- Handle the safe and efficient loading and unloading of valuable and delicate goods.
- Remove items from packaging, place them correctly, and move them to the assigned area.
- Provide a premium white-glove service with a professional, tidy, and customer-oriented approach.
- Carry out standard operating procedures and work instructions carefully and accurately.
- Cooperate closely with other members of the specialist team.
- Keep communication clear with customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Follow all health and safety rules without exception.
- Take on other related tasks as required.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have some practical experience using hand and power tools, along with the physical capability needed for packing and loading work. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are important, as is a professional appearance and an ambitious mindset. Good English skills in speaking, writing, and reading are preferred. Being punctual, dependable, and flexible with working hours is also beneficial. A PPT licence and Safe Pass are welcome advantages, but they are not mandatory.
