Role Overview
Mammotion Tech is looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist in Düsseldorf to help keep transportation and delivery activities running smoothly. The role focuses on coordinating carriers, warehouses, and customers, following shipment progress, resolving day-to-day issues, and supporting process improvements across logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with transport providers, warehouse teams, and customers to organize pickups, deliveries, and other logistics needs according to customer demand and transport plans.
- Keep a close watch on vehicle arrivals, loading, shipment movement, and final delivery progress so operations stay aligned with schedule.
- Oversee order transportation and delivery status to make sure shipments reach customers accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with warehouses, carriers, and customers to address routine operational issues and keep business activities moving efficiently.
- Identify and manage transport exceptions such as delays, damage, shortages, and refused deliveries, and drive each issue through to closure.
- Maintain transport, warehousing, and delivery data so records remain accurate, complete, and updated in the relevant systems.
- Collect, check, and file proof of delivery documents, transport paperwork, and other operational records.
- Contribute to ongoing logistics process improvements aimed at better transport efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Support logistics projects and other supply-chain initiatives when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations; experience with 3PL, freight forwarding, or e-commerce logistics is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of transportation, warehouse, and order-fulfillment processes, along with genuine interest in the logistics field.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with customers, warehouse teams, and transport partners.
- Careful, accountable, and proactive working style, supported by strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; data analysis skills are a plus.
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese; German language ability is considered an advantage.
- Valid German Class B driving licence with hands-on driving experience is preferred.
- Strong delivery focus, teamwork mindset, and the ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment.
