Role Overview
This position calls for a Logistics Officer who can manage day-to-day logistics activities and also assist with facility-related operations. The role focuses on keeping goods moving efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating transport, and helping ensure the smooth running of company premises and services.
What You Will Do
- Oversee logistics workflows such as transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Keep track of inventory levels to support uninterrupted operations.
- Work with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to secure timely goods and services.
- Support facility operations through maintenance coordination, vendor follow-up, and workplace service management.
- Monitor facility contracts and confirm alignment with agreed service levels.
- Plan and coordinate preventive as well as corrective maintenance for equipment and facilities.
- Make sure all logistics and facility activities follow health, safety, and company standards.
- Prepare reports covering logistics, facility KPIs, and operational results.
- Look for ways to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Partner with internal teams to meet business and operational needs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in engineering in a relevant field or in Business Administration, along with at least 3 years of experience across logistics, supply chain, operations, or facility management. Prior exposure to facility management is important, especially in coordinating maintenance, external service providers, and related site operations. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is needed. Experience with ERP platforms and inventory tracking tools is also expected. Candidates should be comfortable communicating in English, both in writing and verbally, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Profile
Experience in facility management within corporate, industrial, or project-based settings will be an advantage. Familiarity with maintenance scheduling and contractor coordination is also preferred. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP solutions is beneficial, and professional certifications related to logistics, supply chain, or facility management are considered a plus.
