Job description

Role overview

This position supports the Qatar Patriot Sustainment Program, which delivers logistics and training support for a Foreign Military Sales program in support of QEADF. The role is based in Doha, Qatar, and works closely with the in-country Operations Manager and Field Manager. It involves coordinating across operations, warehouse management, material program management, warranty management, configuration management, and other business units.

Key responsibilities

The Logistics Manager will help oversee depot logistics activities, manage internal and external coordination, and support reporting, analysis, and procurement activities. The role also includes handling vendor deliveries, documenting materials in the local logistics management system, and contributing to financial and operational planning.

  • Provide leadership support by organizing team assignments according to schedules, methods, and policies.
  • Coordinate work across related teams and supervisors to keep operations aligned.
  • Assess staffing needs for specific projects and shift resources as priorities change.
  • Apply corrective measures within delegated authority when issues arise.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external contacts across maintenance and logistics functions.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and share status reports with work cells and management.
  • Maintain historical documentation for depot logistics analysis.
  • Support procurement activities for both OCONUS and CONUS movements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with total asset visibility (TAV) addendum processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, logistics analysis, and logistics reporting requirements.
  • Follow the program Statement of Work, Contract Deliverable Requirement Lists, and audit documentation requirements.
  • Keep automated and manual accounting records updated, including receipts and turn-ins, and verify quantities against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.

Work schedule and conditions

This is an onsite position. Employees in onsite roles work primarily at the work location, including production and maintenance staff who are essential to product development. The role may occasionally require work outside normal duty hours, including overtime.

Security and eligibility requirements

Applicants must be U.S. citizens because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, and an active clearance must already be in place on day one.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring strong leadership ability, excellent verbal and written communication, and the judgment to make timely decisions in a fast-moving environment with limited information. The role also calls for adaptability in austere and uncertain settings, along with the ability to work with minimal direction while meeting depot and customer needs.

Preferred candidates will have strong critical and creative thinking skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, experience with multicultural teams, familiarity with Middle Eastern nations, and prior work supporting international programs or initiatives.

Education and experience

A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with 8 to 12 years of related experience. In addition, a minimum of 6 years of logistics experience is required, with proven capability in logistics analysis and a solid understanding of all functional logistics areas within a depot facility. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email is also required.

Compensation and benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is USD 107,500 to USD 204,500 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on the role, responsibilities, experience, location, education, training, and key skills. Eligible hires may receive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; short- and long-term disability; 401(k) match; flexible spending accounts; flexible work schedules; employee assistance support; an employee scholar program; parental leave; paid time off; and holidays. Some roles may also qualify for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation, though such payments are not guaranteed.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and also provides affirmative action for qualified individuals with disabilities and protected veterans in compliance with applicable laws.

It is also noted that candidates may be asked to attend some interview steps in person at one of the office locations, even if the role is marked onsite, hybrid, or remote.
