Role overview

Dukers Appliance Co., USA LTD. is hiring an experienced Logistics Coordinator/Manager for its Florida site in Lakeland. This role suits someone who is highly detail-oriented, enjoys working with logistics and order flow, and can stay on top of inventory and shipment tracking.

What you'll do

You will support the logistics function by managing active shipments, entering shipment data from broker systems, and keeping customers informed about the status of orders while they are in transit. The position also involves monitoring open shipments, spotting delays or damage, and helping resolve issues quickly.

Working hours

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders by verifying stock availability, preparing quotations, and processing purchase orders.
  • Enter shipping instructions for completed production orders, while keeping shipment paperwork and records accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate with customers and shipping partners so pickups happen on time and without errors.
  • Send regular status updates to customers for in-transit orders and any shipments facing problems.
  • Request freight quotes, prepare bills of lading and related shipping instructions, and arrange pickups for ready shipments.
  • Reconcile inventory promptly and accurately.
  • Support and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Handle return requests and monitor returns until they are received back at the warehouse.
  • Investigate missing items, delivery issues, and documentation gaps, and restore records when discrepancies occur.
  • Keep management informed by preparing summaries and reports on operational activity, while following established procedures and standards.

Skills and experience sought

  • Previous data entry experience, ideally in an order-entry or similar clerical role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, and web-based business tools.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and producing related reports.
  • Strong accuracy and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Good numerical ability and comfort with record keeping and filing.
  • Forklift operating ability is considered an advantage.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers $27 per hour plus a bonus. Benefits include health insurance, dental coverage, vision coverage, and 401(k) matching.
