Role overview

The company is looking for a full-time Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator to join the Hamburg team for a 40-hour workweek. The role combines warehouse control, inbound and outbound coordination, documentation handling, and operational support across logistics processes.

Key duties

• Handle front-desk receiving and manage incoming goods activities.
• Process transport and delivery paperwork such as CMR documents and delivery notes, and coordinate smooth unloading plus the booking of incoming materials.
• Maintain a consistently high internal and external service standard.
• Ensure accurate order handling and prioritize urgent requests so customer expectations are met on time.
• Support outbound logistics operations.
• Coordinate dispatch activities including picking, packing, staging, and the preparation of shipping documents to ensure timely and error-free deliveries.
• Use warehouse management and ERP systems to record stock movements.
• Work with digital tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, and dashboard software to study inventory trends, improve storage space usage, and track operational KPIs.
• Investigate inventory variances, delivery delays, and damaged goods.
• Operate a forklift when needed to assist with loading, unloading, and warehouse organization.
• Work closely with colleagues across departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience with ERP and WMS systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly valued.
• Valid German forklift license for industrial trucks.
• Strong troubleshooting ability using root-cause analysis, along with a service-minded approach when dealing with drivers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Very good German skills and fluent English.
• Strong teamwork, excellent communication at the reception point, and a proactive hands-on approach in daily work.
