Job Summary
Capital Limited is seeking a dedicated Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Department in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of project operations by effectively managing procurement and logistics activities. The coordinator will be responsible for timely material sourcing, efficient logistics management, adherence to Saudi Arabian regulations, and fostering clear communication among project, supply chain, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders via the ERP system according to approved needs.
- Solicit and compare quotes from approved vendors, evaluating based on cost, quality, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor open purchase orders with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Finance department for advance payments, supplier invoice processing, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records and ensure meticulous document control.
- Assist in identifying and assessing local Saudi suppliers, ensuring compliance with company and KSA regulations.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status to project and management teams.
- Oversee local and international shipments via air, sea, and road.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers within Saudi Arabia.
- Prepare, review, and manage essential shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and customs forms.
- Track shipment progress and provide consistent updates on their status.
- Ensure strict adherence to Saudi customs, ZATCA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Arrange for the delivery of goods from ports, airports, or warehouses to designated project sites.
- Support inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping within the ERP system.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination between project, supply chain, and finance departments.
- Facilitate the expediting of urgent materials to prevent project delays.
- Assist in resolving procurement and logistics challenges that could impact project timelines.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of all procurement and logistics documents in accordance with company policies.
- Uphold company HSE policies and all applicable Saudi laws and regulations in all procurement and logistics operations.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure the safe handling, storage, and transportation of materials.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and procurement coordination is required, with a preference for experience in project-based or industrial settings. Prior experience working within Saudi Arabia, or familiarity with Saudi customs and local supplier networks, is highly advantageous. A solid understanding of import/export procedures and local logistics operations is essential.

Work Conditions
This position is based at our Jeddah Office. Occasional travel to ports, warehouses, or project sites may be necessary. Standard office working hours will apply, with the expectation of flexibility during peak project or shipment periods.
