Locum - Stores Assistant

Role overview

This position supports the stores function by receiving and unpacking non-medical supplies, then coordinating the preparation and packing of outgoing deliveries for different business units.

Key duties

• Check incoming stock against purchase orders and unpack items according to company standards.
• Assemble and prepare business unit orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, orderly store area with properly arranged shelving.
• Handle requests for business cards and stamps.
• Support day-to-day administration for the department, including helping with stock counts.

Education

A completed high school qualification is required.

Experience

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or service setting.

Skills and knowledge

• Strong spoken and written English communication
• Customer service principles and good practice
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft applications
