Job description
Role Overview
The Local Content Specialist will support compliance and reporting activities related to local content requirements for the company’s projects and tenders. This role involves working across finance, HR, operations, procurement, suppliers, and pricing teams to collect data, review documentation, and help maintain conformity with tender and project obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate information from Finance, HR, Operations, and Procurement to support local content activities.
- Draft and check technical templates, including target percentages and mandatory list requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers to secure valid local content certificates.
- Assist in building compliance plans and progressive plans for awarded projects.
- Create tender-specific checklists to verify compliance requirements are met.
- Take part in tender evaluation activities and provide support to the pricing team.
- Join awareness sessions and coordination meetings as needed.
- Help organize audit files, supporting evidence, and data submissions.
- Compile and submit periodic compliance reports.
- Support initiatives that redirect spending toward local manufacturing.
Education
Preferred background: Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Experience
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Local Content.
Work Location
Head Office, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
