Role Overview
Bisnow is hiring an Event Manager for its Washington, D.C. team focused on commercial real estate advertising and live event networking. The position offers a clear path for growth, with opportunities to advance from Senior Event Manager to Associate Event Director and other leadership levels. This is a hybrid position based in the Washington, DC office, with in-office work expected 3 to 4 days per week at 1730 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036. The job also involves monthly short trips to the Carolinas or Nashville for events, so applicants should be comfortable traveling regularly.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee on-the-ground event coordination for Bisnow live events across the DMV region.
- Confirm venues, audiovisual needs, catering, and party rentals before each event while managing fast-moving deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and venue teams in target markets.
- Arrange or collect name tags and signage in advance, and prepare registration before attendees arrive.
- Transport event materials to the venue, set everything up, and ensure all items are properly removed after the event ends.
- Handle on-site ticketing requests and payment processing through Bisnow’s Square account.
- Partner with sponsoring clients to make sure they are supported and satisfied throughout the event process.
- Support internal social media, marketing, and sales teams with event photos, videos, and sponsor presentations.
- Work with rental vendors to coordinate stage setup, seating, and AV equipment.
- Study competing conferences and help determine the best event dates and times.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute as a highly collaborative event professional.
Requirements
- 1 to 4 years of experience in live event coordination or event management.
- A self-driven, entrepreneurial approach with strong discipline, organization, and ambition.
- Positive energy, strong communication skills, and an engaging professional presence.
- Comfort working closely with a high-energy sales team.
- Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt quickly when plans change.
