About the Company
Museum of Ice Cream is a playful, inclusive, and immersive brand built to spark imagination both online and in person. The organization centers creativity, welcomes diverse perspectives, and aims to create spaces where wonder, joy, and self-expression are part of the experience.
About the Role
The Marketing team is hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Lead to own the company’s lifecycle strategy end to end. This role will shape the technology stack, define audience segments, build automated journeys, and put in place measurement and reporting that help lifecycle marketing drive revenue and repeat visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle marketing strategy across the customer journey, with a focus on retention and re-engagement.
- Create programs that improve repeat visitation, customer lifetime value, and overall guest engagement.
- Identify the customer behaviors, touchpoints, and moments that can create meaningful business impact.
- Build segmentation models using factors such as behavior, purchase history, location, visit frequency, and engagement.
- Assess, choose, and roll out lifecycle marketing and CRM tools.
- Own implementation and optimization of platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or comparable systems.
- Work with internal teams to make sure customer data is organized and available for lifecycle use cases.
- Create scalable processes and systems that can support long-term growth.
- Develop and launch automated journeys across multiple channels.
- Design personalized customer experiences that lift engagement and conversion.
- Set up experimentation frameworks to improve messaging, targeting, timing, and campaign results.
- Define reporting, KPIs, and attribution approaches for lifecycle marketing.
- Review customer and campaign data to uncover growth opportunities.
- Track and communicate retention, repeat visitation, lifetime value, engagement, and revenue contribution.
- Turn analysis into practical recommendations for leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align lifecycle work with business goals.
- Use customer insights and trends to influence broader customer experience decisions.
- Act as the internal expert on lifecycle marketing, CRM strategy, retention, and customer growth.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or customer growth.
- Hands-on experience building lifecycle programs from the ground up.
- Proven ability to own business outcomes, not only campaign execution.
- Strong skills in analytics and segmentation.
- Direct experience with Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar tools.
- Ability to think strategically while still being execution-oriented.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills across functions.
