What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead virtual training sessions with a strong presence, strong relationship-building ability, and a welcoming approach that helps new hires feel comfortable and supported.
  • Partner with teams to strengthen the skills of both new and current employees in a call center hub environment.
  • Run high-volume onboarding programs and help large groups of learners get up to speed within aggressive ramp-up timelines.
  • Deliver virtual instructor-led training as needed to match an accelerated release schedule.
  • Conduct engaging Zoom and Microsoft Teams sessions using effective classroom management and learner engagement techniques that encourage participation and retention.
  • Work alongside the Learning Business Partner to help implement the learning strategy.
  • Review learning outcomes and recommend curriculum updates when improvements are needed.
  • Track learner readiness, training feedback, quality indicators, and performance results to improve overall training impact.
  • Develop and refresh job aids, presentations, quick reference tools, assessments, facilitator guides, and related training materials.
  • Turn complicated systems, workflows, and health care processes into clear, easy-to-follow training content.
  • Stay informed about current training trends and apply relevant ideas to training delivery and design.
  • Adjust quickly when content changes, priorities shift, materials are incomplete, or business needs evolve, while still maintaining a positive learner experience.
  • Build the skills needed to operate as a Learning Business Partner by identifying training opportunities, consulting on business goals, and using a performance-improvement mindset, while remaining open to coaching and feedback.

Required Background

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related area, or equivalent practical experience, plus at least 5 years of learning and development experience focused on facilitation, onboarding, call centers, customer service, patient support, or operational training.
  • Comfort and skill in both virtual and live facilitation, including Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office tools, along with the ability to work Central Time Zone hours.
  • Experience delivering virtual instructor-led training to large audiences and supporting onboarding efforts at scale.
  • Prior experience training teams in call center, customer service, patient support, health care hub, specialty pharmacy, payer, PBM, or similar health care operations settings is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning evaluation methods, with the ability to tailor delivery for different knowledge levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, handle moderately complex projects, and produce strong results under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to break down complex processes and adjust training approaches in environments that are changing quickly or lack full clarity.
  • Independent problem-solving skills with the ability to work within set guidelines and address technical issues with general direction.
