Role overview
Amazon Australia is hiring a Learning Trainer for the BWU1 Fulfilment Center in Moorebank, New South Wales. In this role, you will report to the Learning Manager and partner with the Ambassador team to deliver high-quality training for both new and current associates. You will be trained on the standard work and tools used by the Learning function, and should bring strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to set a professional example across the fulfillment center workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Create, run, and evaluate training programs for both newly hired and experienced warehouse associates.
- Handle training-related administration, including building, entering, and maintaining training rosters.
- Guide and support Ambassadors as they coach and train associates.
- Help monitor the effectiveness of training across the fulfillment center.
- Learn processes quickly and develop subject matter expertise in new workflows.
- Respond promptly to operational issues, identify root causes, and take appropriate steps to resolve problems.
- Maintain a strong understanding of safety procedures and act immediately when corrective action is needed.
- Keep audit readiness and refresher or one-point change training fully compliant.
- Complete assigned work and standard tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Keep learning areas and training locations organized and ready to support all training activities.
- Spend at least 5 hours each week working in a warehouse process path such as pick or pack to stay proficient and spot associate barriers.
- Support associates positively so they can succeed in their roles.
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications.
- High school education or an equivalent qualification.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, remain standing or walking for shifts of up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime when needed.
Preferred qualifications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including different shifts, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
