Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage transport models using the CUBE software across multiple international projects.
- Leverage at least six years of experience executing CUBE projects in various regions including the UK, Middle East, Australia/New Zealand, and the US.
- Conduct thorough analyses of transport data to inform planning decisions and policy formulation.
- Research transportation challenges, identify opportunities, and assist in crafting plans and policies to improve transport systems.
- Assess the effects of proposed transportation initiatives and design infrastructure such as roads, rail networks, and cycling paths.
- Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and policymakers to integrate transportation solutions with land use planning, ensuring sustainable urban development.
- Oversee and review work completed by junior team members, promoting quality assurance and ongoing improvement.
- Preferably possess skills with other transport modelling and analysis tools such as EMME, SATURN, VISUM, AIMSUN, LEGION, VISWALK, VISSIM, Junctions9, Sidra, Linsig, Synchro, and SIDRA.
- Apply advanced traffic forecasting techniques to effectively predict and manage traffic flows.
- Analyze complex datasets to detect patterns and devise innovative solutions to transport challenges, enhancing procedures and outcomes continuously.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
- Have 9 to 15 years of professional experience, with 6 to 8 years specifically in transport planning for large-scale infrastructure or highway projects, particularly within global delivery frameworks.
- Chartered or professional accreditation is advantageous but not mandatory.
