- Advise senior leaders with competitive market data, talent landscape insights, organizational research, and hiring recommendations.
- Develop and carry out sourcing strategies that reach passive executive candidates.
- Perform market mapping to identify talent movement, compensation patterns, competitor activity, and future leadership pools.
- Establish and nurture relationships with executive candidates, professional networks, and external talent communities.
- Work with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to define success profiles, business needs, and long-term leadership plans.
- Assess candidates using behavioral and competency-based methods to gauge leadership strength, fit, and future potential.
- Manage executive engagement, interview preparation, compensation discussions, negotiations, and close-out activities with discretion and professionalism.
- Create a strong candidate and stakeholder experience through clear communication, executive presence, and organized process management.
- Recommend improvements to search strategy, candidate outreach, assessment methods, and executive recruiting practices.
- Keep search records, ATS data, and reporting accurate and current, using metrics to guide decisions.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in place of the degree requirement where allowed.
- 7 years of progressive corporate recruiting and/or executive search experience in highly competitive talent markets.
- 5 years of experience managing full-cycle executive or senior leadership searches from intake through onboarding.
- 1 year of experience providing indirect leadership through coaching, guidance, and direction to recruiters, coordinators, analysts, or sourcing partners supporting executive search.
- Experience working with senior executives and influencing hiring decisions at Director level and above.
- Strong background in executive sourcing strategy, market mapping, and passive candidate outreach.
- Proven ability to evaluate executive talent through behavioral interviewing, leadership assessment, and consultative methods.
- Experience negotiating complex compensation packages and handling sensitive executive hiring conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong executive presence, and effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to handle several complex searches at once using ATS, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
Preferred background
