Where you'll work
Job description
Role overview
This position leads finishing activities across projects, ensuring that all work is delivered to the required specifications, standards, and quality expectations. The role combines hands-on technical oversight with team leadership, coordination, documentation, and close control of project completion activities.
Core responsibilities
The role covers end-to-end supervision of finishing work such as flooring, ceilings, cabinetry, fixtures, doors, painting, and related interior and exterior elements. You will review project documentation, including specifications, bills of quantities, and shop drawings, to confirm accuracy and alignment with the intended design.
You will also provide technical direction to designers, site supervisors, and subcontractors on materials, methods, and execution approaches. Where complex finishing issues arise, you will be expected to assess the problem and implement practical solutions quickly.
Another important part of the role is leading and developing the finishing team through mentoring, training, performance review, and capability-building plans. In addition, you will carry out site checks, track defects through snag lists, and ensure corrective work is completed before handover.
The position requires active coordination with architects, engineers, project managers, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal functions such as finance, PMO, design, techno-commercial, facility management, and CRM teams to keep execution aligned.
You will maintain records related to progress, materials, quality, compliance, and safety, while making sure all finishing work follows required safety standards and supports a strong safety culture on site.
Stakeholders
Internal stakeholders include the Finance Team, PMO Team, Design Team, Techno Commercial Team, Facility Management, and CRM. External stakeholders include consultants such as architecture partners, suppliers, and contractors.
Technical competencies
The role requires capability in budget and financial management, interior finishing, quality assurance, quality control and compliance, regulatory compliance, risk management, safety management, and site management.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. The preferred experience is 10 to 15 years in finishing management within the construction industry, ideally on large-scale projects and in the real estate sector.
Additional requirements
Strong knowledge of finishing systems, including doors, painting, and other interior and exterior finishing elements, is expected.
