This position is for a Lead Associate in Buying & Merchandising at Myntra, where the focus is on improving product assortment, pricing decisions, and merchandising outcomes to support sales growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute buying plans that improve assortment quality, pricing, and overall business performance.
  • Study market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to support informed decisions.
  • Handle supplier negotiations and work toward commercially favorable contract terms.
  • Track inventory positions and product performance to guide data-backed actions.
  • Review sales trends and merchandising metrics to assess strategy effectiveness.
  • Work with teams across marketing, sales, and finance to ensure aligned execution.
  • Maintain vendor partnerships and contribute to supplier assessment and selection.
  • Keep up with industry developments, new technologies, and current best practices in merchandising and buying.
  • Ensure procurement activities follow regulatory expectations and ethical standards.
  • Support and guide junior team members to encourage learning and growth.

Experience & Fit

The role is suited to professionals with 3 to 6 years of experience who can apply strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication in a fast-moving business environment. A person who enjoys using data and commercial judgement to drive growth will fit well in this position.
