Job description
Role overview
This position is responsible for keeping guest-room linens clean and ready for use. The role supports the hotel’s laundry operations by ensuring items are processed correctly, neatly finished, and available when needed.

Primary duties
- Wash, finish, and fold white linens according to the property’s laundry procedures.
- Work with the supervisor when handling special laundry requests.
- Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate personal grooming.
- Take on additional tasks assigned by the Laundry Manager or General Manager.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in laundry operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational ability and close attention to detail are important.
- The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- English reading and speaking skills are needed.
- A high school education or equivalent work experience is required.
- Good knowledge of brand products and bedding collections is expected.
- The candidate should be able to move through all parts of the laundry workflow, including sorting, washing, folding, and pressing.
Work environment and physical demands
The work is performed indoors. The employee may be exposed to laundry detergents and other chemical compounds. To carry out the job successfully, the person must be able to see, speak, hear, and communicate effectively in English. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, multitasking, stooping, and reaching. The employee should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may frequently carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity is needed for folding, preparing linen displays, and handling paperwork.
