Landfill Spotter

About the Role

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a dependable Landfill Spotter for its Nokomis, Florida site. This is an active, outdoor position for someone who prefers hands-on work over desk-based tasks and takes pride in keeping operations safe and organized.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Guide incoming trucks to the correct unloading areas and help manage traffic flow on site.
• Support customers in entering and leaving the facility safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate closely with heavy equipment operators such as wheel loaders and backhoes to maintain order at the landfill.
• Watch for unsafe conditions, possible hazards, or incidents and report concerns to the team promptly.

Requirements and Qualifications
