About the role

Hotel Alte Brennerei is a family-run 3-star property with its own restaurant, located in the heart of the historic old town of Wernigerode. The restaurant serves regional cuisine and offers 60 indoor seats as well as 60 outdoor seats in the beer garden.

Key responsibilities

  • Work within the à la carte service area.
  • Prepare, plate, and present both cold and hot dishes.
  • Handle all necessary preparation and follow-up tasks before and after service.
  • Maintain compliance with HACCP food safety standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a cook/chef.
  • Hands-on experience in à la carte restaurant service.
  • Strong knowledge of food products and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Reliable, motivated, quality-conscious, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Resilient under pressure and comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
